Remnant 2: Ultimate, Deluxe, and Standard Editions (Explained)

Last updated: July 19, 2023

Remnant 2 is set to launch on July 25, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game has three editions that you can choose from, depending on your preferences and budget: Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate.

Let’s find out more details about what each edition of the game will have and how much it will cost in this article.

Standard Edition ($49.99)

This is the most economical one among the three. It includes the base game. If you pre-order, you’ll also get an early unlock for the Gunslinger Archetype, which is a class that specializes in firearms, ammo, and weapon switching (If you don’t pre-order, you can still unlock this class after completing certain quests).

Note that the price of the game may vary slightly if you are not in the United States (but the difference is not much).

Deluxe Edition ($59.99)

This edition includes the base game, and three armor sets from Remnant: From the Ashes: Elder, Radiant, and Void1245. These armor sets have unique looks and stats that can enhance your gameplay. They are pretty cool, as shown in the picture below:

Like the Standard Edition, if you pre-order the game, you’ll get a bonus which is an early unlock for the Gunslinger Archetype class.

Ultimate Edition ($69.99)

This edition includes everything in the Deluxe Edition, plus a Survival Pack, a DLC Bundle, and 3 days early access to the game1245. The Survival Pack contains some useful items to help you survive in the game, such as elixirs, bloodroot, ammo boxes, scrap, and iron. The DLC Bundle contains three DLC packs that will add more story elements, creatures, and environments to the game. The details of these DLC packs are yet to be announced, but they are expected to be released within one year of launch. The 3 days’ early access will allow you to play the game on July 21, 2023, before anyone else.

This is the most expensive version. However, in the future, you’ll get DLCs at no cost (while those who buy Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition will need to spend extra money to buy more DLCs when they come out).

Afterword

I hope this information helps you decide which edition of Remnant 2 suits you best. If you have any other questions about the game, feel free to leave a comment. Happy gaming & have a nice day!
